DESCRIPTION:
ASHCRETE is Pozzolanic material obtained by processing of Power Station Fly Ash resulting from the combustion of pulverized Bituminous coal & be used as Building Material

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Finely divided dry powder of greyish white colour and available in packages of 40 kg. and 1 M.Ton. These can also be supplied through bulk tankers.

BENEFITS:
Reduced Water / Cement Ratio - which causes less shrinkage & less cracks
Improved bonding of adjacent layers due to slow setting.
Better bond to steel and improved off-shutter finish
Increased long-term strength development
Reduced cost
Improved work ability - Sphericity of fly ash acts as small ball bearings further enhance work ability & placement . Increase in volume of concrete improves co-hesiveness also
Reduced danger of deterioration of sulfates and chlorides and thus greater durability.
Due to the finer & more refined pore structure is less permeable & beneficial in Re-inforced concrete, which prevent Corrosion

RECOMMENDED USAGE:
Structural Concrete- Replacement of cement with ASHCRETE up to 20% by weight to achieve good strength development, reduce 10% volume of water
Plaster (External / Internal) - Replacement of cement with ASHCRETE up to 30 - 35% by weight. To give better surface finish & more permeable cover, reduce 10% quantity of water as well as sand respectively.
Mortar For Brick Laying - Replacement of cement with ASHCRETE up to 25-30% by weight to improve cohesiveness & also work ability, reduce 10% quantity of water as well as sand respectively
